Where printing presses once rolled off the assembly line, a 7,000-square-meter neighborhood center has been created as part of the "Urban Redevelopment in Hesse" program. The former MAN Roland factory site now combines listed industrial history with modern park design, creating a distinctive identity for the district.

The architecture of the park, which opened in 2016, skillfully incorporates its industrial heritage: In the south, a greened steel pergola is a reminder of the former factory buildings, while in the north, a vibrant activity zone enlivens the park. A generous lawn stretches between them, lending the space a sense of spaciousness and tranquility.

The heart of the park is the central activity zone with four focal points: a parkour course for young people, a community urban gardening project, a rope climbing structure, and a water play area for hot summer days. These areas are connected by a long seating wall. A special detail: Gears embedded in the wall subtly recall the factory's history and make the park a place where past and future meet.
