Information
The current local history museum, whose oldest parts date back to the 16th century, has different construction phases, which can be recognised by the ceiling and support beams inside, among other things. According to former villagers, the half-timbered house or parts of it are said to have once stood in a different location. The building was formerly the residence of an agricultural estate, later it was also used as a restaurant and then as a post office. The museum opened in 1994. Since 1998, the exhibits have been open to the public on four floors. Among other things, the interior of a farmhouse as it was still common in the first half of the 20th century is on display.
