Information

The Frankfurter Kunstverein is an interdisciplinary exhibition space for contemporary art and culture. It was founded in 1829 by citizens of Frankfurt as an independent art institution, committed to neither a state-driven nor an elitist understanding of art. Here, artists explore socially relevant questions of our time, expanded through the perspectives of the sciences. At the Frankfurter Kunstverein, an inquisitive public encounters exhibitions that engage the senses and discovers new perspectives on our present.
