Information

The permanent exhibition at the Frankfurt am Main Transport Museum in Schwanheim offers a comprehensive overview of the development of Frankfurt’s local transport system and brings history back to life through its lovingly restored original exhibits. Highlights of the museum include a horse-drawn tram carriage from 1872, the world’s first electric tram to operate on public roads in 1984, and a steam locomotive for freight services from 1900.
