The home and village museum Pfaffenwiesbach offers a comprehensive picture of the village life and working world in the "old school". In the attic of the local museum, an extensive map collection and original school benches show how children once were taught. Furnishings from bedrooms and living rooms of families from Pfaffenwiesbach, as well as a kitchen with stove, crockery and appliances give an insight into the village life of past days. Numerous implements and tools illustrate how people used to work on the field and in the barn. The members of the Heimat- und Verkehrsverein Pfaffenwiesbach, for example, have collected numerous exhibits from the dairy industry – from the butter churn to the centrifuge. Almost all exhibits come from households, craft businesses and rural property in the village.
