The Gutenberg Library is one of Germany's most comprehensive specialised libraries on the history of books, printing and writing. This includes the entire field of book studies and book design, printing and typography as well as artistic and graphic printing techniques. The library contains more than 91,000 titles from seven centuries and forms the centrepiece of the Gutenberg Museum's exhibition activities.
At the same time, it is available free of charge to all interested users as a reference and research library.
